Coronavirus

Coronavirus World Details

2020 introduced the world to the first major pandemic since the early 1900’s.  It has ruined economies, countless lives have been lost across the world, and travel came to an abrupt halt.  Although the world hasn’t found a way to adequately combat the virus, for some travelers life must go on.

Travmage wants you to stay safe. If you decide to travel remember to follow CDC (Center for Disease Control) and WHO (World Health Organization) recommended guidelines when traveling.  If you are worried ask airlines, cruises, or bus companies if they will be filled to capacity or have some type of distancing protocol.  All travelers should check the outbreak data of their desired destination.  A government could suddenly decide to shut down flights to and from certain destinations.  If this is a possibility, all options should be weighed before travel.

It could be both dangerous and expensive for a traveler stuck during an imposed quarantine with flights grounded.  Everyone that desires to fly to a destination should ask both the airline and applicable travel agency about the refund policy if flights are cancelled and not rebooked at a later date.  Safety is our greatest concern at Travmage.  We want you to enjoy the world, just be cautious until the world has a handle on coronavirus.
